The Shire of Northam has merged with the Town of Northam to form one Local Government entity. From the 1st July 2007 until the 20th October 2007, when Local Government elections will be held, the Council will be governed by Commissioner Hon. Gavan Troy. The new Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Northam, appointed by the Commissioner on the 5th July 2007 is Mr Bruce William Mead, who was the previous CEO of the Town of Northam. All correspondence to the Council should still be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, NORTHAM WA 6401 |
